Kanazawa University, which has a history of more than 150 years as a core university on the Sea of Japan side, will promote the strengthening of research capabilities in new fields and integrated fields and focus on developing global human resources.

• Kanazawa University Exchange Program (KUEP) - a special education program that provides Japanese language courses, as well as courses in English on the state of affairs in Japan, Japanese culture, and other various fields of specialty for international students.

Kyoto University of Advanced Science is a private university located in Ukyō-ku, Kyoto, Japan. It was founded as a trade school in 1925 and incorporated in 1969, KUAS was refounded in 2019 under the leadership of Shigenobu Nagamori. Its two campuses are located in Kyoto City, and Kameoka City.
